ABOUT THE JUNIOR LEAGUE SOFTBALL CENTRAL REGIONAL

The 2020 Junior League Softball Central Regional is an invitation only tournament and will be contested by state champions
from states in Little League® Baseball and Softball's Central Region. Those states include Iowa, Illinois, Indiana, Kansas,
Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Minnesota, Nebraska, North Dakota, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin. The Junior League division
is a teenage division for softball players ages 12 to 14. This years Junior League Softball Central Regional will be played July 23-27, 2020.

The Junior League Central Regional has called five cities home since its inaugural season in 1999. Tallmadge, Ohio (1999-2002),
Akron, Ohio (2003-2008 and 2011-2014), Elyria, Ohio (2009-2010), South Holland, Illinois (2015-2018), and Pendleton, Indiana (2019).

2020 will be the second year Pendleton, Indiana has hosted the Junior League Central Regional. Pendleton is a small town of roughly
4,500 people located about 30 minutes northeast of Indianapolis. The tournament is hosted by Indiana District 6 and will
be played at the Pendleton Heights High School Baseball and Softball Complex.

The defending champion of the Junior League Central Regional is Canfield/Poland Little Leagues from the communities of Canfield and Poland, Ohio.

The winner of the 2020 Junior League Softball Central Regional will advanced to the Junior League Softball World Series
in Kirkland, Washington August 2-8. The defending Junior League World Champion is Tampa Bay/Interbay Little Leagues from Florida.
